The 2nd international summer school on Machine Learning Applications in Medicine in Trier of Germany, has been successfully completed in June 2024 with the participation of our MSc program! Students from three countries, namely Germany, Portugal and Greece participated and enjoyed 5 days full of exciting science and cultural exchange! Till next year…
Onsite visit for accreditation by an international organization, the Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN). The MSc program has been succesfully accredited till 2029!
Delegation of independent reviewers and experts from ACQUIN has completed an on site-visit at the premises of the University of West Attica, and the MSc program “Biomedical Engineering and Technology”, from 01-03 October 2023.
Advances in Biomedical Sciences, Engineering and Technology (ABSET) Conference, June 2023
The ABSET conference was organized by the MSc Program “Biomedical Engineering and Technology” of the Department of Biomedical Engineering of the University of West Attica, Greece.
The ABSET 2023 Conference sought to provide answers and explore new ideas, actions, challenges, and outcomes of the Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, and Technology offering a worldwide connection between scholars and enterprises who share a common interest in the field. Our event has attracted a diverse range of contributors and presenters, including 15 countries from 3 continents. This diversity is a testament to the international reach of our conference, fostering multi-disciplinary collaborations and fostering intellectual growth and exchange.

A international summer school on Machine Learning Applications in Medicine was held on 05-09 June 2023 at the University of West Attica under the auspices of the MSc Biomedical Engineering and Technology of the University of West Attica and the MSc Interdisciplinary Engineering, Trier University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
